On this occasion, we are organizing for the third time in Poland “The week of heritage”. During this week monuments which are usually closed and inaccessible for guests will be open.
Owners of various monuments will wait for the visitors as part of the project “Hospitable Monument” on selected days and hours.
There will be a possibility to get to know the history of the participating monuments, take advantage of the attractions, have conversations with owners and talk with them about successes,
plans and the biggest challenges. The places to which we would like to invite you are surrounded by nature which makes them extremely charming and calm, especially on those beautiful April days.
You will meet there kind people with a great passion for renovating their treasures. That is the reason why this year we have decided to complement the name of the project in words “Heart of the Monument”. The aim of our event is to mobilize the potential of the place and architecture, which has been expressed by the owners with our advice and support. “The week of heritage” is also our earnest appeal for donations to help us renovate “witnesses of history”. They will be used for the most urgent renovations. Every cent is not only a chance for the second life of decaying objects but, what is also important, solidarity with the mission of our foundation which is to save from oblivion souvenirs of the past.
