The 2019 ICOMOS Advisory Committee meeting was held in Marrakesh, at the invitation of ICOMOS Morocco. The meeting was attended by 50 National Committees and 21 International Scientific Committees, 13 Board member observers and 90 Observers.

The annual meeting of the National Committees was held in Marrakesh, Morocco, on 15 October 2019 from 08:00 to 12:00, and chaired by Douglas C. Comer (Vice-President of the Advisory Committee).

The Scientific Council was delighted to meet in Marrakesh, at the invitation of ICOMOS Morocco. The meeting was attended by 21 International Scientific Committees, 13 Board member observers and 64 Observers.

The annual meetings of ICOMOS took place this year in Marrakesh, Morocco, from 12 to 18 October 2019, at the magnificent Mohammad VI Cultural and Administrative Complex of the Habous. The week was very busy for the ICOMOS members attending: in addition to the working meetings (Board, regional groups and International Scientific Committees meetings, Scientific Council, National Committees forum, Advisory Committee, Annual General Assembly), many sessions allowed members to discuss and exchange views on key heritage topics - see the full programme of meetings.
