ICIP Seminar: Principles for Heritage Interpretation and their Implementation for the Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding

Join ICOMOS’ International Scientific Committee on Interpretation and Presentation (ICOMOS-ICIP) in celebrating the International Day for Monuments and Sites by participating in their International Seminar on the role of the principles for heritage interpretation in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

The seminar is part of the ICOMOS Asia-Pacific Regional Group meeting to be held between 15 and 18 April 2025 in Seoul, South Korea. The meeting addresses the theme: Challenges and Collective responses Facing Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region.

The following experts will be presenting during the seminar, which will be moderated by Jihon Kim (ICOMOS-ICIP/Korean national Commission for UNESCO):

  • Bekeh Ukelina (ICOMOS-ICIP/Nigeria)
  • Darko Babic (ICOMOS-ICIP/Croatia)
  • Jaeheon Choi (ICOMOS-ICIP/Korea)
  • Sue Hodges (ICOMOS-ICIP/Australia)
