In response to the theme of “Rural Landscape” on the International Day for Monuments and Sites and the “Rural Revitalization” Strategy proposed by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, in the context of the integration of culture and tourism, Zhang Chaozhi, professor of the School of Tourism at Sun Yat-Sen University leads a tourism research team to carry out the discussion about the related practices and academic topics of rural heritage protection and revitalization with the theme of “Rural Heritage Tourism and Sustainable Development”. Seven lectures have been arranged for the symposium.
