The planet is at a crossroads where business as usual is no longer on option. This week the 20^th ICOMOS General Assembly overwhelmingly voted to declare a Climate and Ecological Emergency.

We are pleased to inform you of the results in the second round of voting for the elections at the 20th ICOMOS General Assembly - election of the President, Secretary General and Treasurer, the approval of accounts and the Resolutions from agenda items 6-3 to 6-7.

We are pleased to inform you of the result in the first round of voting for the elections at the 20th ICOMOS General Assembly – the election of the 20 ICOMOS Board members.

ICOMOS is proud to be a part of a global team which today is launching a new project to support climate action in Africa through cultural heritage. The project, which is led by institutions in Africa and the United Kingdom, will pilot application in Africa of the Climate Vulnerability Index for World Heritage properties (the CVI-Africa project).

ICOMOS, ICA, IFLA and ICOM have issued a Statement on November 20 regarding the situation of cultural heritage in the Nagorno Karabakh region, following the ceasefire agreement that was implemented in the Nagorno-Karabakh region on November 10, to call all parties involved to proactively ensure full respect and protection of all the cultural heritage in the concerned areas.
