Dear ICOMOS members,

We are pleased to report on the successful 2016 Annual General Assembly held in Istanbul, Turkey from 15-22 October. We would like to once again extend our thanks to ICOMOS Turkey for the perfect organization of the event. 

2016 Annual General Assembly

The AGA allowed for fruitful discussions between ICOMOS members. Among the many statutory meetings, ICOMOS members had the opportunity to attend an Information and Discussion Session on the Proposed Amendments of the ICOMOS Statutes and to participate in a meeting of the National Committees, the first to be held in a long time. The video recordings of the meetings that took place in Istanbul, including the Scientific Symposium, are available on the ICOMOS YouTube channel.

Draft minutes of the 2016 Annual General Assembly

The draft minutes of the Annual General Assembly that took place on 19 October 2016 in Istanbul are available in English and in French. Please send any comments on the draft minutes to the International Secretariat (secretariat@icomos.org) before 9 January 2017.

19th General Assembly in 2017 - New Dates

The 19th General Assembly will take place in Delhi, India (please note the shift in dates) from 11-15 December 2017 (GA and Scientific Symposium) with Pre-Meetings held 8-10 December and Post-Meetings and Events from 16-17 December. Click here for an overall programme of the 19th General Assembly.
