For the International Day For Monuments and Sites of 2019, a few events took place in China.

This one was the revisit of the Traditional Village of Xiedian by a group of conservation volunteers including architects, planners, colleages teachers and jounalists. Some of the participants contributed to the Planning of Xiedian Protection and Regeneration Project several years ago. During this revisit, they carried out site survey and interviews with villagers to collect information on the village's current condition, and tried to give proposals on vernacular heritage conservation and local sustainable development.
